Tread announces a new integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud
Tread, an industry-leading collaborative logistics platform that construction companies and producers use every day to move material on and off their job sites, is pleased to announce a new integration. Tread now connects with Autodesk Construction Cloud™, a portfolio of software and services that combines advanced technology, a builders network and predictive insights for construction teams.
Tread’s operating platform brings internal and subcontracted logistics into a single workflow, improving communication and coordination, generating actionable data, and improving order to cash cycles for customers of all sizes across North America. With the new Tread-Autodesk Construction Cloud integration, customers can easily manage their construction fleet directly within their Autodesk® Build or BIM 360® Project Home dashboards. Tread data such as estimated versus actual hours driven, operating hours, profitability, material volumes, or safety incidents can be easily accessed in the new Partner Card. The integration improves fleet efficiency by providing project managers real-time visibility into their operations alongside other critical project information such as schedules and progress tracking.
The mission-critical collaborative tools Tread delivers allow contractors, material producers, fleets, brokers, and operators to work together as a single team and share relevant information in real-time, while removing the need for hundreds of touchpoints from the movement and reconciliation of material logistics. The platform also removes the need for paper invoicing, and fulfills the E-ticketing needs of customers. The outcome is increased performance of the materials supply chain, easier and more accurate reconciliation, and faster and more profitable delivery of the materials that every site relies on.
“Every delayed project starts with an inefficient materials supply chain. By improving material logistics, we help our customers adhere to timelines and budgets while bringing them closer to the stakeholders they collaborate with every day. Connecting Tread to Autodesk Construction Cloud is a huge step in surfacing information from the field to project managers and decision makers in the office, while improving accuracy and transparency across the jobsite,” says Ahmad El-Dardiry, President & COO at Tread. “Adding the real time insights and performance improvements that Tread generates to the pre-construction and construction management tools Autodesk offers creates an opportunity for users to make better decisions throughout the construction cycle and to better manage the day-to-day operations on jobsites. Adding the Tread Partner Card to Autodesk Construction Cloud’s project management and field execution tools creates one location for teams to easily manage their fleets and third party haulers.”
“Project managers should be able more simply manage their construction fleets in order to drive greater efficiency on their projects,” said James Cook head of integrations at Autodesk Construction Solutions. “Embedding Tread alongside key construction data in Autodesk Construction Cloud helps those managers further coordinate their materials supply chain with other key project information so they can make informed decisions and enhance operational productivity.”
Customers can add the Tread Partner Card to the Autodesk Build or BIM 360 Project Home dashboard by following these steps.
