With Tread employees living across North America (including one on a Caribbean island) we value the time we get to meet up, get work done, and get to know each other. We recently spent a week together at Tread HQ in San Francisco where we planned for 2024 and had a lot of fun. We strengthened team bonds and celebrated all of the hard work the team has put in over the last year rebuilding the Tread platform from the ground up.
In the three jam packed days of being together, Treadians had the opportunity to engage in a balance of work and play ranging from team building activities to interactive workshops and brainstorming sessions that encouraged collaboration and camaraderie.
The time spent in-person was more than just a gathering; it was a showcase of Tread’s commitment to fostering a strong sense of commitment to our remote culture. As employees return to their respective locations, the shared experiences and memories from the week will continue to strengthen the bonds of Tread’s remote-first culture.
At the end of the week, we walked away having slayed zombies at Sandbox VR, showcasing our skills mini golfing, and with a lot of stories shared over a number of team meals. We look forward to seeing each other again later in 2024!
