Tread Dispatcher Feature: Daniela Paunache - A&B Paving
Could you please tell us how long you have been a dispatcher for?
Local and long haul dispatching has been part of my job description, among other things, for well over 15 years.
What do you like most about your role?
The control it gives me over those not easily controlled.
What do you do for fun, outside of work?
Boating and camping with family and friends.
How did you meet the Tread Team?
I had the pleasure of meeting the team in a training session at R.W. Tomlinson offices.
Before using Tread, what kind of challenges were you facing in your job as a dispatcher?
I used to have to send texts to each individual even if the information was the same and I never knew if they received it or not.
How did Tread help you solve these challenges?
Shortened the amount of time it takes to send information. It also sends all with the click of a button.
How was the onboarding process for you when you started using Tread?
Like with anything new, it took some getting used to and some bugs were worked out; but in the long run, it has made it very easy and simple to communicate with all involved, from drivers to the crews on sites.
What kind of results have you achieved using Tread’s solutions?
Information passed on is the same to everyone and it leaves very little to error.
What’s your favourite Tread feature and why?
That I can, at any time, see where my trucks are.
Would you recommend Tread? If yes, why?
I would absolutely recommend Tread simply because it automates everything from dispatching to payroll to billing.
